let me give away twenty dollars as a daily question. under review
I want to give away a twenty dollar gift certificate to Amazon or something, and the daily question could be, "Why do you deserve bateatsbat's twenty dollars?" I think people could get pretty creative with this.
This is entirely up to you. You are more than welcome to do with 12seconds.tv as you wish. After all you're the responsible one for any activity that occurs under your screen name. Don't abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate, or intimidate other 12seconds.tv users in the process. So long as you legally uphold your rights and responsibilities, I see no reason why you can't do such. Good luck! 12 second window under review
If you accept postings of up to, 15 seconds, then there were a 12 second window you could slide along the length of the file, then that would allow users to remove the first pause before the video starts and they start talking...and it may help with things being cut off at the end (like in the about us videos, for example).
The stuff at the end is more important than the pause at the start, and this minor edit would help make the postings look a bit cleaner (instead of forcing people to rush at the instant the device starts recording)

allow users to post video replies to written comments. under review
You know when someone writes a written comment. I wish you could hit "Record A Reply To Comment" or something similar to that, not just reply to the video as a whole.

Let me choose a thumbnail for my videos under review
12seconds automatically pics a thumbnail for videos (looks like it pics the middle frame of the video). If you happen to be blinking or mid sentence you risk looking mentally challenged.

work on the mobile video submission under review
For some reason, after many tries, I have still not been able to successfully MMS nor email a video to you guys successfully from my Blackjack II (3gp formatted videos) (ATT)
Could you make a mobile app instead of relying on different networks abilities?
Is there just a huge lag time? This brings up another point: Maybe there could be a status indicator to let me know if there was a video just received, so that we know you got it okay.

Look into audio playback level under review
It seems like playback is not as audible as on other video sites... even ambient noises from outside drown (when I have my windows open) drown out some people's audio. I'd never be able to hear them at even the quietest coffeeshop without really good earphones.

It's just good programming. It's really aggravating to click the link to someone's bio and lose the miniblog I'm watching.

SSL for login and other sensitive account areas under review
I'd like to see a secure SSL login page and SSL for other sensitive account areas, where user credentials (for other services!) are entered and/or changed.

load time/elapsed time under review
I want to see a load time status indicator, as well as elapsed/remaining times when a video is playing.
Helps me decide if it is not worth waiting for, or a sense of when the good part of the video is.

Let Me Approve Sent Videos Before Posting under review
Add an option so emailed videos can be approved before posting. Should send an email to account when one is sent, then you could either reply back or something to approve, or approve from online.

Have video replies count toward a video's comment count under review
When you mouse over a user's video stream, it gives the title of the video and comment count, but video replies don't appear to factor into that count. Maybe show a separate video reply count or simply combine them, which makes the most sense to me. (And from a copy perspective, maybe call them "Video Comments" for the sake of consistency.)

stop button when finished, not necessary 12 seconds under review
Sometimes I will like to say just a word, sometimes I my message will be 10 secs, so I would like to be able to stop recording.
it wouldn't be 12seconds then would it? ;) actually we may do this... Also if you submit a mobile post and it's less than 12seconds, it still works.

let users toggle whether webcam initializes on page load under review
I log on from work to check other videos, and there is no webcam there. The browser bogs down looking for it. Can we toggle our account so that upon being signed in it won't start prepping the cam?

private label 12seconds under review
I would like to have my own 'channel', different from the current channel, in that I could use it as a kind of user forum. it would allow people to post and reply in a page that appears by itself, on my page. Threaded discussion would be great.

I know it's only 12 seconds long, but it'd be nice to be able to scrub to a custom image from the video. :)

Allow Users to add multiple profile pictures.
Or remove the add Photo button after you have uploaded your picture to eliminate the confusion.ah i see. good point. we'll take a look at that.

flickr has comments on your pics/comments you've left links. I'd like this so I can follow threads...

Need to be able to change the size of the embedded video planned
I just tried to embed my 12seconds video on my blog's sidebar but I can't seem to change the size of the video tile in the embed code. I tried changing the height and width requirements but it made no difference

So many sites offer Twitter support now, but what about the folks that use Pownce or Identi.ca or Jaiku, etc? Support Ping.FM the way you support Twitter now and you'll also support a SLEW of other microblogging sites.

Put an Everyone link on the Global Navigation planned
I hate having to go back to my HOME page just to get to the Everyone link. The flash on my homepage takes control of my browser for a few seconds every time it loads, so having to go via Home to get to Everyone all the time gets annoying.

support sprint mms planned
You don't seem to support mobile video uploads from Sprint. Sprint is weird such that they don't attach video to the email...they just link to it.
Flickr and other services make exceptions for this behavior. It'd be awesome if 12s did too!
